Pet care experience
I have been pet sitting for my cousins since I was 12 and my girlfriend's family the past several years and have experience with and love cats and dogs of all sizes. I have also helped my girlfriend watch many dogs through her Rover account over the past several years and recently have been taking care of our first pet together, our cat Frankie. I have very much enjoyed my experiences with all pets and always have a great time playing with them and I understand why people consider them to be a part of their family. I will always do everything I can to make sure that the pets I care for are happy, safe, and get the exercise/care they need.

Giving an updated review as Alex is wanting to help out with dog and cat watching again. Alex is such a great animal caregiver. He loves dogs and cats and will really put in the effort to give them the care they need while their owners are away. He has a cat of his own that he takes great care of. He is responsible and a great guy.
Alex loves dogs and is very good at handling them. He is caring and responsible. When he accepts responsibilities he sees them through to completion.
Alex has watched my dogs on multiple accounts and they absolutely love him. They are always excited to see him. He is responsible and cares deeply about their well-being. He treats them as if they were his own and we always trust him watching after our dogs when we are away.
Hi Rover folks, I am a dog lover. Who wouldn't be. My dogs Yoyo and Mojo have often been looked after by Alex O. He loves dogs, and gave my dogs the loving care and affectionate attention they deserved. Alex often told me Mojo was his favorite dog ever. I'm sorry to report that Mojo died very recently and Alex was as almost as devastated as I was. In general, Alex is a nice respectful guy and a very responsible person. I have often had him house-sit so I can confidently recommend him for his trustworthiness and reliability.

Pet safety is of the upmost importance to me and I will make sure to be very cognizant of my surroundings such as other animals while on walks as well as ensuring leashes/harnesses are fully secure. Outside of that I will be sure to follow all care instructions left by owners to make sure their pets routine stays as they are used to.

I have no breed preferences and will gladly care for any dog or cat. For dogs I would just like to know their general reactions to other dogs so I can make sure they are safe during walks.
A typical day
I will gladly take dogs on a run if that’s something they enjoy. I will also take the dogs to any nearby park or off-leash area if there is one close enough during the 30 minutes I have with the dog and if the owner is comfortable with me taking their dog to a place, they would be around other dogs. If I am doing drop in visits for cats, I will gladly spend some time playing with them in addition to feeding them and scooping their litter box.

Availability
I have a very flexible schedule at the moment so I should be able to take any dog walking or pet drop-in requests at short notice. I should also be pretty open for house-sitting requests at relatively short notice as well.
