Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs in my household (at least 2 at any point) for my entire life and mainly took care of my own dogs until my mom started her own grooming/boarding/walking business in which I was her right hand man for several years. We did pick ups and drop offs for customers, stayed in their homes during their vacations if the dogs didn’t like leaving home, and turned our own home into our own little dog sanctuary. After moving out from my mom’s to live in Long Beach and started working from home, I’ve helped several friends with walking and feeding their dogs if they needed to go back into the office.

There is no one I trust more with my dog than Alex! He is very caring, respectful, responsible and trustworthy. He takes really good care of our dog when he watches her and sends us updates multiple times a day. He has a lot of experience watching and caring for pets and he does an excellent job. I can't recommend him enough to take great care of your pet!
Alexander is a true dog lover! My dogs absolutely love him. When he visits, my dog, Winnie will sit on his lap for hours. He is an experienced dog owner and dog walker. Alexander is trustworthy and reliable. I highly recommend him as a pet caregiver!

I always want to make sure the dog feels comfortable with me before starting to walk them. A short meet and greet can go a long way for the dog so they can pick up your scent. Additionally, I always approach all dogs carefully, let them sniff me and become comfortable, once comfortable, pets and scratches have always built trust among dogs I’ve walked in the past.

Availability
I currently work from home 4 out of 5 days of the week, so I am looking to walk dogs during my lunch break and on the weekends if I’m free, as well as potentially board dogs in the future.
