Pet care experience
Honestly, I love pups more than people. I absolutely love being able to provide pet care because I know I take better care than a kennel and can offer one on one care. I've got 3 families I dogsit for regularly and absolutely love it. Please ask for references and I will provide phone numbers! Your dog is your child, and I'm here to take care of your child. I understand how difficult it can be leaving your animal with another person but really, this is what I love! I will assure that your animal/best friend is properly cared for 100 percent. A dogs quality of life depends on the care and attention they're given so that's where I begin when caring for your companion. I grew up with two Great Danes, a greyhound, a border collie, and two cats, and spent time living with several pitbull and pitbull mixes as well, so I definitely have an appreciation for any and all dog breeds! It's all about understanding, compassion and communication with actions rather than words, which just makes sense.

Alex is so wonderful with our 8 year old Dane/Lab mix, Stella! We used to board her when we occasionally went out of town but when we would return she always seemed to be in a skittish mood. After Alex stayed with her in our home we returned to a very normal and happy puppy! We could tell he had spent a lot of time playing with her as we typically return to a hyper dog, instead she was very calm and content. We could tell Alex really loves animals and took care of Stella exactly as we would want someone to. We would absolutely recommend Alex as a dog caregiver!
Alex has been a great and reliable sitter for our two large dogs on multiple occasions. We are very picky about who stays with our dogs. He's responsible and makes sure they get outside for walks and to play, and he deals with my husband giving him an interminable lecture on the care of our dogs each time in a gracious manner. I know he must be doing something right because our pups are so happy to see him when he comes over.

Please let me know of any aggressive behavior, whether it's with other people of other dogs. It's something I can handle and know how to deal with but a heads up would be appreciated. I love all breeds and definitely have experience for larger breeds, so I'm pretty comfortable with all dog shapes and sizes.
A typical day
Besides cuddling, I love getting a pup out to excersize and play and run around with and socialize with other dogs at a dog park if that's something he/she is comfortable with. In which case, I take the dog on a solo walk and spend time with him/her one on one getting to know each other.
