We love your doggos!
Pet care experience
It is our belief that total transparency is best when it comes to both our and your fur babies. We’ve been taking care and raising pups of many breeds for 17+ years. Alli has even helped with the birth of 4 dog litters, two litters of kittens and helped raise and release 4 baby raccoons (before coming to California). Can you tell she was raised in the backwoods on a farm? Haha We have two boys (both neutered) that love love love to play and be goofballs! Odin Leroy is a dopey dobey who just turned 4 in April and Loki Jenkins is a mix of just about everything and the kitchen sink who is about to be 4 in October. Odin is our alpha male that typically makes or breaks a meet and greet. It isn’t very often that Odin does not vibe with another pup. Loki is a lot more chill and go with the flow. Yet will reach grumpy old man status by 8pm every night on the dot. We have a huge (for California standards) fenced in back yard to decompress and get out the zoomies! On the average night their shenanigans typically keep us entertained for some time. We have what we like to call the “dirt track” back there that seems to be a fan favorite for all breeds of all sizes! We take the heat very serious in this state and time how long we are outside for as well as opting out of day time walks if the heat is too much for my bare feet than it’s far too hot for their pads. DISCLAIMER: Because Alli is soooo much better at organization and scheduling, typically all responses will be from Alli rather than Alex. 😁
Reviews
Alicia and Alexander always take great care of my Chewie and give regular updates! Special thank you for the last stay...I know it was challenging!
They are very kind people who treated our two girls with great care, gave regular updates and ensured they returned home safe and happy.
I’m sooo reluctant to leave a review because I want them to be my secret! They treat my dog like their own! They are truly the best!
Alicia & Alexander are wonderful! Bambino had such a great time playing with their dogs and they took great care of him!

Safety, trust & environment
Again with transparency, we do want you to know we have had an issue with non-neutered males in the past but have always de-escalated the situation before anything could happen. We love all breeds and hold nothing against any. However sadly Odin has been attacked by 3 different huskies here in California. (Two non-neutered, and one non-spade) Naturally Odin has become very leery of the breed and seems to shy away, but we are determined to get him a good experience with huskies! At the end of the day the safety of our boys along with the safety of your fur babies is our #1 priority! If vibes from either side are felt or perceived as not a good fit, unfortunately we would prefer to err on the side of caution and hope that you are able to find a suitable replacement. No matter what, above all monies my dogs are my children and if they aren’t cool with the situation then ultimately they have the final say.

Information Alexander & Alicia G. would like to know about your pet
The most important information for us to know about your pups are: Food allergies? Medications? Food/toy aggression? Is your doggo secretly a goat that will eat everything inedible possible? Scheduled feeder vs grazing feeders? Kennel sleeper vs bed sleeper? Any weird/unusual habits? Tricks YOU commonly use to calm your pup when over stimulated?
A typical day
We do our best to do at least one pack walk all together around the neighborhood, typically morning/early afternoon and another one later in the evening/closer to bed time. We live in a pretty quiet neighborhood for the most part, it’s usually pretty peaceful while we walk around.

Availability
Alex’s schedule allows him to be home early in the day most days and Alli is home just about all day except in the cases of running errands. **We are aware that this may not be a rover policy.** In cases that we receive multiple requests for same dates, to be fair because this is getting to be a busy time of year for us, if a response is not given within 48 hours of the initial booking and another request is received for those same dates we will have to archive your message and move on to the next perspective client with same dates. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope that you can understand. We also understand that life happens and plans change. If a cancellation needs to happen no worries at all! We do ask that you contact us as soon as you are aware so that we can get the cancellation process started (if already paid and booking confirmed) so that you can get your refund asap!
