Pet care experience
Growing up with pets my whole life has allowed me to experience all types of animals, varying in breed and size. Animals have always taken a liking towards me and for those who are shy or skittish I am always willing to work with them to gain their trust and show them I care. I also help my mom foster and care for kittens in need, as well as those that are sick and require additional special attention in order to regain their strength and health, from the humane society.
Reviews
Alexa did a great job taking care of our injured pup and even administering medications to him while he was recovering from bite wounds. We felt fully confident in her ability to care for Tyler. We highly recommend Alexa!

Information Alexa W. would like to know about your pet
Before sitting for a pet I would like to have a general idea of their personality, energy level, likes and dislikes (e.g., favorite treats and toys, mail truck), temperament towards other animals and humans, bad "habits" (e.g., eat shoes/furniture, not potty trained, jumps up on people), medical conditions or any special needs (e.g., bad hips, needs help going up the stairs), feeding schedule (amount of food and any special dietary needs), and how often they need to be let out.
A typical day
Although we do not have a backyard, a quick walk up the block will bring you to the quaint Mitchell Park and Rock Creek Park is roughly a 10 minute walk away. Dogs will be able to go on walks throughout the residential neighborhood of Kalorama Heights and a low key dog park located in Walter Pierce Park is less than a 5 minute car ride.
