Pet care experience
I am a dog owner myself. I had my first dog for a wonderful 11 years. I now am a proud pet mommy of a 2 year old german shepherd/corgi. I got both dogs when they were puppies so I am aware of how much attention is needed. I have interned at a vets office, and a zoo. I currently intern at an animal shelter. I plan to attend vet school when I finish up my masters degree. Animals are my pride and joy. I will treat your dog the same way I would treat my dog. Lots of ear scratches and love will be given. I am available most nights & weekends after school & practice are complete. My school schedule goes until 3:15 and then practice afterwards on some days.

Alexa was so great with my puppy! Took the time to come meet her beforehand and was able to help us out on very short notice. She went above and beyond a simple "drop in visit", let us know when she got there and was leaving. Gave our puppy lots of love and playtime and even sent pics while she was there. Will definitely be using her again!

I would like to know how the dog does around new people, if he/she is dog friendly, and anything else the owner feels the need to specifically tell me so their dog and I have a great time.
A typical day
The walks can consist of around the neighborhood, as well as the dog park ( as long as the owner approves of it before hand), if there is a dog friendly beach around that is always another good spot as long as they have flea & tick prevention of course. I love a good game of fetch and if your dog is up to it a nice job is great too.
