I have had a passion for animals all my life. I grew up owning dogs since I was born, varying from small weiner dogs, Jack Russel’s, Pit Bulls, Yorkies, King Charles, Golden Retreivers, Golden Doodles, Labs and many rescues. I have watched over neighbors dogs growing up including walking, feeding and grooming them as well. My name is Alexa and I am a friendly outgoing 25 yr old who loves the outdoors and playing with dogs/cats/ bunnies/ guinea pigs/ ponies/ horses/ goats etc etc. but my main focus here is on the pups. Because of my full time job and traveling often I decided to hold out on owning a dog myself but would love the opportunity to help tend to yours when you are unable to.

Alexa is a beautiful, kind person who handled my last minute request for a dog sitter/walker brilliantly! I couldn’t have been more pleased. I have a senior dog that is scared of everything and she earned her trust in one day! I will definitely recommend her!
Alexa was great, super friendly. I made a mistake on the pickup address and she dealt with it like a pro. Lots of great pictures from their walk, and my pupper came back nice and tired. 10/10 would book again.

I will drive up to about 30-35 miles to where you live and am open to suggestions on where to take your pup on walks in your neighborhood. I take lots of photos so you can feel comfortable and enjoy your doggo having lots of fun. I also have a vehicle and am able to take any pets to dog parks or more grassy areas with room to run if given the acceptance to do so. If I am watching your pet at my residence I live in a low trafficked area with lots of sidewalks to take your pup exploring. I also have a park at my apartment and the cherry creek reservoir is accross the street where there is a long path to take the pups to walk/ run/ play in the sand.

I have no breed preferences but I would like a personality description of the dog before sitting him/ her. I like to know how pets will greet and interact with me prior to meeting them so I know how to respond appropriately.
A typical day
We will go on walks around our quiet, minimal trafficked neighborhood or can take to trails nearby if given the acceptance to let the dogs ride in my vehicle. I love to run and play fetch with the doggos and will take many pictures of them having a blast. If you have any suggestions on your pets day to day activities I am open to them as well.

Availability
I work 7-3:30 M-F, getting off early allows me to beat traffic and tend to your pet quickly. After work I am very flexible on service times. I am also available all day on Sundays and occasionally Saturdays if I am not traveling.
