Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs, cats and fur-babies alike since I was 15, when I would dog-sit and walk for family friends. When I was 17, I started volunteering for the Bidawee shelter in their cat care division. I had the pleasure of owning my own fur baby in my early 20s. I’ve had varying dog sitting and cat sitting gigs (both day visits and overnights) Since then, some of which included me staying over.

Alexa has watched my black lab Ani twice, and will be my go-too pup sitter from now on. She took great care of my fur baby. She was very active with the dog, taking on walks, communicated very well, and sent lots of pics. My pup even whimpered when she left! Would highly recommend her to watch your pets.

My top priority besides providing love, fun and stimulation to your pets is their safety: both for their sake and my own. Making sure that we discuss your yard set up especially your fencing, and indoor set up (do you have animal gates/baby gates set up, areas they’re not permitted in), etc. Communication is key and I would love to know what works for your animal: what boundaries are set and what they’re comfortable with.

I would love to know if your dog has any medical conditions, what sort of environments they prefer to play in, their favorite toys, are they reactionary to certain people, how they play well with other dogs, and if they have certain triggers (for example do they love belly rubs but are upset easily by under the chin scratches?).
A typical day
I am a very active person- I love being outdoors either for a long run or hike. I know that animals are stimulated the same way I am by the outdoors and I would love to show them either parks close to you or by me- there is one close to my house that has a large pond snd wooded area.

Availability
Pet care will both be a great supplemental time with pets and additional income while I search for jobs I can work remotely. I am flexible to work with clients on their schedules/their adorable pets schedules for the time being!
