Pet care experience
After having dogs all my life, I have learned how to communicate with them effectively, in a calm assertive nature. I currently own a Samoyed named Skadi, and I will be breeding her next year with White Magic Samoyeds. Puppies will be expected in the spring of 2024. I raised her to be a companion for my 4 year old son. Skadi has a dense double coat that can withstand temperatures of 60 below. I take care of all her grooming needs with professional equipment & tools. learned to groom and care for large double coated dogs when I owned a Newfoundland. Prior to the landseer newfoundland, I was elected to care for my parents elderly dog when they went on long vacations. Their elderly Samoyed was blind, diabetic, had two knee surgeries from a torn ACL, and had thyroid issues. I gained experience giving insulin shots through caring for their dog. Additionally, how to get a stubborn dog to eat a pill. Prior to my parents Samoyed we had a pit bull. Therefore, I have a soft spot for bully breeds.

Alexa is an excellent caregiver for pets, she is very tentative to their needs and extreme nurturing. She has a very high maintenance dog that is kept immaculate and I believe this job would suit her well! She was extremely affectionate and tentative while caring for my dog in his last few months, she made sure he was well taken care of and in great shape given the circumstances. I would let Alexa care for my dog any time!

I’m the type of person that will think twice about an activity if I can’t bring my dog. As you can see from my uploaded photos, Skadi is held with the highest regard. The picture of Skadi with a boutonnière is of her 1st birthday dinner. You can see the only struggle she knows is not ever being fast enough to get the squirrels in the backyard. If I were to walk and care for your dog, I would treat her the way I would want someone to treat Skadi.

A typical day
My Samoyed is along side me throughout my day. She comes with me in the car to drop my son off and pick him up at school. She accompanies me on all my errands and is beside me while I do chores. She enjoys going on off leash adventures in the woods and swimming.

Availability
I am a stay at home mother. I’m looking to work in or near my hometown of Clifton Park. I need to have a flexible job during “office hours”. My availability is Monday- Saturday 9:30am-6pm Sunday I am available in the morning and evening.
