Hi, my name is Alexa—no relation to amazon ;) A recent transplant to Roscoe Village, I'm offering my services on Rover in my spare time! Growing up with dogs, cats, and many other small critters, I have a deep appreciation for the fact that our pets ARE our family! They deserve all the love and attention, and I'm happy to take care of them while you’re away! It’s so important to feel like our fur kids are in trustworthy and capable hands while we have long days at work or go away on vacation--and that's where I come in! I'm a well-educated, competent and super reliable pet (and house) sitter who treats your pets and home as if they were my own.

Hi Alexa, thanks for all the love and care that you gave Pepper and Velvet! Unlike the pet hotel stays that they've had previously, they were not at all acting strange when we returned home. We loved all the pics you sent, definitely put our mind at ease while vacationing. And can't wait to play with the new toy that you gave them ??
Alexa is extremely intuitive with animals. She is respectful and constantly updates us about our pup. She has help watch our dog Paisley for over a year now. It is obvious that Paisley loves to play with Alexa because when she sees her she doesn’t leave her side and gets so excited when she sees her. I am particular about who watches her and Alexa is beyond trustworthy which makes me feel comfortable knowing she’s in good hands

The more details the better! Does your pet have a favorite toy or game? Would they actually prefer a quick potty break and snug-sesh in lieu of a long walk? Or maybe a light jog? Do they have a preferred direction/route and favorite potty spot? Please be sure to share any medical, special needs or temperament issues about your pet, including how they handle leash walks, fears, or anything to avoid. And just as a precaution be sure to have your current vet listed on your profile, in case of an emergency.
A typical day
It really depends on the cat or pup! Cats are very misunderstood so I pride myself in meeting them on their level and providing attention, brushing, and especially play time they crave when left alone. And for dogs I visit some like longer walks, while some just need a quick potty break and some snuggles on the couch to not feel lonely. It truly depends on the pet and pet parent!

I currently work from home and make my own schedule so arranging pet visits to accommodate your cats and dogs schedule shouldn’t be a problem :)
