I have been a long-time dog owner and dog sitter for friends and families. I have not only had dogs as my own but I have lived in a household of fostered dogs for many years. I also have traveled extensively in the past and have had house-sitters, dog walkers, and my pets boarded, so I know exactly what you are feeling and the type of communication you'll need while you're away to make sure your pet is getting the most love and having the most fun possible! I have also had backyard chickens for a decade, other types of birds and reptiles as well, so I have a wide knowledge of how to care for all types of pets. For fun, I love to snowboard, hike and I also have two yoga teaching certificates, so I like to practice yoga... and my dog Chip does too! I'm originally from the beaches of California, then moved to the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, and now onto a larger space here. So, my pets and I are not strangers to getting outdoors. We love it! If boarding: I have 30 acres with a pond and chicken coop. I also have a compost area and a large garden area. We can explore and if your dog is into hiking we can hit a trail or two, if not we are good just chilling in the backyard or even on the couch in the living room.
