I’m Alexa and I've loved dogs for as long as I can remember! There hasn't been a period in my life longer than six months where I haven't had a dog in my household. I recently lost my pup Lola to cancer so I thought it would be nice to start working with dogs more frequently instead of owning one. Ever since I was born I can’t remember a time where we didn’t have a dog in the house. My family is full of animal lovers, but we definitely all have a weakness for dogs. Unfortunately our own dog Lola passed away from cancer a couple of months ago so the house feels lonely without her and that’s why I’ve decided to open up my home to other pups. I have taken care of dogs and walked dogs since sophomore year of high school. Your dogs will always be well attended since there is always at least one person in the house at any given time, and they will be cared for as if they were our own! We have a 2 story home with a fenced backyard, and I am willing to drive up to 30 miles for any pup in need. I am an energetic, friendly, and responsible person. I’ve always been slightly introverted. Dogs bring out the best in me because they don't require much conversation in order to build a friendship! I’m currently in school for industrial engineering. In my free time, I love hiking and exploring my passion of interior design. I also enjoy reading, painting, and gardening. I live in the suburban North Haledon neighborhood. There is a dog park just three blocks from my home and a larger park less than a mile away. We also have a fenced-in backyard where dogs can roam around!
