Hello! My name is Alexa. I have been a dog owner since childhood. Personally, my dog is my best friend! I would adopt your dog into my family and provide them with endless love for as long as they are with me! I have two kitties as well that are my little angels. I love them so much! I have experience in overnight care with dogs, cats, turtles, fish, birds, and guinea pigs. I am able to provide bathing, house sitting, walking, and fun! Your furry friend will be able to go outside at least once per hour while we are together. A exercised dog is a happy dog! Thank you for your consideration! I look forward to hearing from you!

Alexa is a fabulous person and dog sitter. She went above and beyond to ensure my dog would be comfortable in her home and with her family dog. I received photos, videos, and wonderful feedback on how our Rosie did, which only confirmed what I knew and that I could enjoy my vacation knowing my Rosie was safe and happy. I absolutely will book Alexa again the next time we need a sitter. I almost didn’t want to post this review because I want to keep Alexa all to myself!
Alexa and her family took wonderful care of our Weimaraner. Their dog Molly is a perfect hostess. We received plenty of pictures and updates while we were away. We will definitely rebook with Alexa next time we need a dog sitter.
My dog means the world to me so I always worry when I have to leave him behind. But I always can trust Alexa to take great care of him. She understands all my concerns and sends lots of pictures/videos so I know he is doing great and having fun. 😊
Alexa is very responsible while caring for my dog. I have an old toy poodle named Sheba. My family has had Sheba for 15 years now. I had to go out of town for about 2 weeks last summer and I left Sheba with Alexa for dog boarding. Alexa sent me daily photos and updates of Sheba so I knew she was happy. Sheba is elderly and must take certain oral medication throughout the day. Alexa was excellent in giving Sheba her medicine exactly on schedule. She even sent me a little video of Sheba while she was eating. It is obvious Alexa truly loves animals and Sheba began to love Alexa too! We still make appointments to have Alexa dog sit Sheba to this day. We could not imagine booking anyone else for Sheba!

I like to spend as much time as possible with the fur baby I am sitting for. While house sitting, I visit in the mornings, afternoons, and nights. If you would like me to spend the night at your home with your pet I am willing to do that also! Please feel free to request! Every time I visit, we will go on a walk, play, cuddle, and follow whatever feeding schedule you have planned for them. During walks, I try to stay out for at least 30 minutes-1 hour. The more exercise the better! I try to run with the dog for a few minutes if they want to go fast! Dogs are happiest when they are sleepy from a fun day when bedtime comes!

A typical day
I love to play fetch or teach tricks like "sit" or "turn around." There is a dog park near by, as well, if your dog prefers social time with other dogs. I love to go on walks! Especially by the water! My favorite places to walk are parks with lakes or big ponds and enough shadey areas to cool off if it's hot outside. While house sitting, I tend to adopt the dog as my own for a little while. I love to cuddle and hope to have your dog with me every moment of the day! Whatever activities your dog enjoys, I enjoy too! We will have a blast together and send you pictures to give you peace of mind while your dog is having fun with me.

Availability
I am working part time in Clarksville, MD on weekends. I am available 9AM-3PM every day then after 8PM for walking and individual attention for dogs I am house sitting for or walking on a daily basis. On days that I am off work, I may have more open availability. So please feel free to message me and ask!
