Pet care experience
I’ve loved all animals since I was 4 years old having both cats and dogs growing up and rescuing my own pup last year. People call me the pet whisper because for some reason all animals seem to take to me very fast.. I like to think it’s because I genuinely love all pets as soon as I meet them. I’ve helped friends pet sit, walk, feed and bathe their pets and have experience with providing medication as well as working with pets with allergies. We have a fenced in yard and live in a very pet friendly area! On Friday-Sunday we usually head to the dog park once each day, but will always check first to see if that is okay with you.

Alexa and her husband were great! We got daily updates and knew she was in good hands. The fenced back yard was great and Reo got some great exercise with her daily walks (what she needs - we are sometimes lazy with her walks). Reo also was comfortable with their dog - they became great buddies! We will definitely have them 1st on our list whenever we need a sitter! Thanks Alexa!
Alexa is great! She sent me pics and updates daily of Brady, and I knew he was in good hands! Thank you for taking such great care of him!
Our dogs , Butterscotch and Bailey loved staying with Alexa. She communicated with us multiple times daily. She made sure to follow Butterscotch 's strict guidelines and oral medications daily to help him improve. They received lots of love and attention. Alexa & her husband are absolutely amazing treating our dogs as there own.
Alexa and her husband were absolutely wonderful to deal with, and they truly love dogs! Our Labs Raven and Darcy were extremely well cared for while we vacationed, and Alexa sent lots of pictures and videos of them frequently. If we are ever in the area again, we will use Alexa as our pup sitter without question!

We have a fenced in yard and 1 super friendly 3 year old dog to keep your pet company. If visiting your home I will be sure to bring in any mail and spend some time with your pet during my check in. I would prefer meet and greets prior but it is not required.

Please let me know if your pet has any special needs around feeding, walks, medication, etc. For example if your pet will not eat unless I stand next to them.
A typical day
A typical weekend day or on a weekday I have off I’ll start the morning by letting dog(s) outside in the backyard. I will play with them and let them sniff around as they please. Then I will go to the dog park for at least an hour (please let me know if you do not want this) as well as provide walk around the neighborhood.

Availability
I currently work as a dietitian (specialized in sports, women, infant, children and clinical nutrition) so the times that I have listed are always when I am AWAY from work and home/able to provide full focus on your sweet fur babies. This is why my availability is evenings and weekends and occasionally Fridays/Mondays. Additionally, my husband is at home with me too and though his hours are more unpredictable being in the Army he is able to assist as well. I am always upfront about my schedule and work hours to be sure I am the best fit for you and your fur baby!
