I’ve had experience with +60lb dogs and 20 lb dogs, along with beginner puppy training and administrating medications. This care included full housing, crate training, +3 walks per day, and outdoor play time at local dog parks.

Alexa is a super responsible and great caretaker! She loves dogs with all kinds of energy levels and enjoys taking them on walks. She loves trying to teach dogs new tricks and is a sucker for cuddle time. She keeps a daily schedule in her life and her routine gives her a lot of balance to devote time to being a dog caregiver. I truly recommend her to anyone who's looking to give the love and attention his/her dog deserves!
I have seen Alexa foster two different dogs, both a quiet disciplined older dog as well as a young energetic puppy. Both were very successful, and I believe she would be a great dogsitting. Alexa treats all gldogd with patience, care, and makes sure to take them out on multiple walks a day even when she is tired. She is very familiar with reading dog behavior as well as training them around the house. She has experience taking them to the dog park and playing with other dogs.
Alexa is one of my housemates and has had experience fostering two dogs so far. She's not only a kind, loving person but also a reliable caregiver. She looks after our housemates and foster dog by consistently cleaning the common areas and taking care of our foster (walking, feeding, playing, etc.). She also has experience walking different breeds including the terrier/pitbull we are fostering now (~65 lbs). She takes her responsibilities seriously and even goes above and beyond her expectations in everything she does!

I currently live in an apartment with my partner, and we have no pets, but I’ve had experience fostering dogs in the past. I will usually give the pet its own space to call its own, and always have ample food and water available. We do not have an open backyard, but we do have a gated patio that small dogs can lounge on. There is also a gated dog park in the apartment complex, as well as a large dog friendly community around us (we are located in San Jose Japantown).

Before sitting a dog, I would like to know the general characteristics (calm or playful) and how much attention they will need to be happy. Do they enjoy long walks, running around, playing with toys, or just belly rubs? I do not have a breed preference.
A typical day
I love to be outside, so I can take your dog out for runs or walks around the local neighborhood. If your dog loves playing with toys, I enjoy quality time playing with them indoors as well!

Availability
I have a hybrid work schedule with fairly consistent hours from 9-5pm. I’m generally available Sunday-Thursday in early morning before 8am, or evening after 6pm. I make it a goal to have a daily run, so can bring along your doggo if they’re an active one 😄
