Pet care experience
I have had all kinds of animals throughout my lifetime. They range from horses, fish, hamsters, cats, and dogs. Have been a house and pet sitter since I was 12. My dogs are not "just dogs" they are my kids. They have been apart of my family for 14 and 13 years now. Both were/are on special prescription diets; so I know what it takes when they get old, or have special needs. We go on family vacations that are centered around them. They are my world. Most fur babies are very comfortable around me when we first meet. My baby girl was a shy one. I know that some fur babies need to take time to get to know someone new, which is more than okay with me. I will take the time needed to make them feel comfortable with me.Sadly we had to say goodbye in May of 2020. We have a new addition to my home. We got my new baby before we had to say goodbye to our baby girl. We received him when he was 10 weeks old. He is now 11 months old. If your fur baby is young or old I know that I can help. She loves dogs as her own furbabies. She gives them the loving care and attention they need. She also loves to spoil them and celebrate them on their birthdays!
Alexa has grown up with cats, dogs and horses. She has a special bond with them that makes them feel safe and loved. One example one of our adopted rescue dog was aggressive when she first came into home, especially when touched/petted and we were thinking that she was not a good fit for us. Alexa came for an over night stay and was able to connect with the dog and set boundaries of behavior. The dog saw that kindness was what she was needing and would get at our house. Everytime Alexa comes to visit the dog remembers her and gets super excited to see her. They reconnect everytime. Alexa has two dogs of her own that are well cared for and loved. She genuinely loves all animals but she especially is a "dog" person.
Alexa has always loved animals. She grew up with cats and dogs. She has had a dog herself for many years. She is very loving to her own pet. Alexa is kind and caring to all animals. Her dog is her baby and is well cared for. Her dog knows it's loved. Alexa will take great care of anyone's pet.
