I’ve grown up in a house with a dog since I was born and love dogs of all shapes and sizes! I dog sat through high school for neighbors, and have helped out my friends with their dogs for up to 2 weeks at a time! I rescued my dog Hazel 3 years ago and she has made my life so much better! I lived with a roommate this past year who got a 6 week old puppy and helped train her and watch her while my roommate was in medical school.

My dog has been crate trained and now has free range of the house with access to water. Your dog can have that same freedom if you wish, otherwise I have a large crate available to use with a divider option, so you don’t have to bring your own if you prefer! I take my dog for a 2 mile walk every morning without fail, and can adjust this length depending on your dogs’ needs. I let her out 2-3x after I get home from work until I go to bed to make sure they have done their business and have gotten their energy out! I have plenty of toys available! If I am in your home, I can adjust to whatever schedule you need from me to best care for your pup! I now have a large fenced in backyard your pup would love to run around in?

Please let me know if your dog has any special medications or anxiety when left alone. While I love to be around as much as I can, there are times I have to run errands and want to make sure your pup feels safe and is in the best environment for them to prevent harm to themselves or the environment.
A typical day
I will try to get your dogs as much exercise, love, and play throughout their stay that they would get at home. I take my dog on 1.5-2.5 mile walks every morning, which can be adjusted in length depending on your pup’s energy level. I have a large fenced-in backyard and lots of toys for your dog to also enjoy.

I’m currently working a very light schedule as a contract occupational therapist, meaning I only have between 1-4 hours of work per day with Thursdays off as well as Saturday/Sundays so I have plenty of time to help care for your pups!
