Hi, My name is Alexa B. and I am very excited to get my name out there and hopefully care for your dogs and cats. I have always loved animals. Growing up, I had a Rottweiler and 5 cats. Currently my parents have 2 dogs and 2 cats (I recently moved out unfortunately) but I still visit to help them with the pets a lot. I had a Rottweiler for 5 years. I professionally dog sat for a few families for about 7 years. I am comfortable taking your dogs on longer walks (if they’re bigger and they need it). I have my own car and my school schedule is rather open so I will be able to do drop ins no problem. I’m also making this account with my boyfriend who has owned dogs his whole life. We both go to the University of Guelph so if one of us is in class, chances are the other one will be available for the job. Let me know if you’re interested! 😁

Buffy had a lovely visit with Alexa and wants to go back again. Alexa was so good with keeping us informed on how Buffy’s day was going/went and send us some timely photos just so we could keep up. I felt very comfortable leaving her and would not hesitate to book Alexa again should the pet sitter need arise.
Alexa is an amazing host and really take care of my pets. Gougou feels at home who is really nervous get along with new people. I would definitely come back and refer her as the most kind and responsible host.
Alexa did an amazing job taking care of our dog! She welcomed Brody into her home, sent photo updates and took amazing care of him.

We live in a townhouse so it’s not a fenced backyard but we live in a lovely neighbour hood, perfect for walks. We live in the basement so we have the entire floor to ourselves however our roommates also love dogs so they are more than welcome all throughout the house. Since we are available so much, your pets will get lots of attention and walks/dog park visits.

I would like to know the age, if there is more than 1, what activities you’ll need me to do, and if they are okay being left alone (for classes throughout the week). Also, in terms of health - do they have allergies? Any food restrictions to be careful about? Do they need to take any medication?
A typical day
There is a hiking trail right down the street from my school and if you allow me, I could take your dog there. It’s a beautiful terrain and I’ve been a few times so I know my way around it quite well. There are also a few off leash dog parks that are in our neighbour hood that are perfect for dogs who like to play with other dogs.

Availability
I am a full time student at the university of Guelph and I also have a part time job with the city of Guelph, however I do have a lot of free time. I am also running this account with my boyfriend who I live with so there is a very good chance that one of us will be home 24/7. We have weekends completely free and ready for boarding! And we are available throughout the day during the week for doggy day care and walks while you’re at work. We both have in person classes so we will be away from your dog for a little bit throughout the day so we do always ask to make sure your dog is okay being left alone. We love animals (especially dogs and cats) so I can guarantee your pets will be well taken care of! (Maybe even a little spoiled 😁).
