Pet care experience
I grew up with multiple breeds of high energy dogs and am used to playtimes, monitoring and their schedules. I also have experience with puppies and have cared for one senior dog with health issues (tumor). I have had 5 dogs growing up - 2 pit mixes, 1 golden retriever, 1 golden lab, and 1 australian sheepdog. As for cats, I’ve had several adopted as strays and currently own one domestic shorthair. I just like dogs and cats

Alexa is kind and loving. She loves animals. She enjoys walks with her dog and loves playing with her. Alexa would be an attentive and loving pet sitter.
Out of everyone who’s ever handled my pets, Alexa is without a doubt the most capable. Even with difficult pets, she manages to find their sweet spot and get along with them great. She’s very responsible and caring, and it’s clear she’s passionate about animals and their well-being. While soft spoken, she’s a great person and a very capable learner.
Alexa is great with dogs, she even has two of her own. she sincerely cares about animals, which is one of her better qualities. she can be stern at times, but truth be told she couldn’t harm a fly. Alexa is indeed a bit shy at first, but overall she is a wonderful, exciting and fun person to be with. Shes a great listener, and a quick learner.

I am willing to keep your pet entertained by taking them to parks, walks, playtime as long as the pet is well socialized. I cannot take animals into my home as my cat is not comfortable with new dogs and her comfort is always a must.

If your dog is not well socialized or requires a muzzle, if they have anxiety or don’t respond well to certain triggers. I would like to know what style of behavior they are trained to adhere to as well as rewarding. Favorite treats are a must.
A typical day
Go to dog parks, or go to large parks and take walks - it depends on the dog and their need for activity. I would need to know what their interests are and what toys/treats & stimuli they prefer.

Availability
I work Mon-Fri and I am available past 3:00pm. Weekends depend on what I am asked of. I work at a school so I have plenty of break weeks around holidays if needed.
