I have been caring for dogs, cats, and animals since I was 7 years old. From my lop rabbit named Dolly to the multiple chocolate labs and rescue cats, my love and concern for animals started early. My parents dubbed me "Dr. Dolittle' from a very young age for the ways all of our animals flocked to me! 🐱🐶 I have three awesome cats of my own, Dash, Armin, and Lil' Sir. We just adopted a rescue pup named Brisket! 🥩 My experience goes beyond being an animal lover from a young age, though: I have 15 years of combined experience offering professional pet care services, working with animal welfare organizations, and volunteering with animal rescues. It is a deep passion of mine to rescue & provide for animals that are suffering. Experience: I worked at Doggie Style Pets washing, grooming, and boarding dogs. I was the volunteer Chief Strategy Officer for an animal welfare & rescue organization called Stray Cat Relief Fund. During my time with SCRF, I raised awareness & resources for stray animals and also opened my home to rescue, foster, and adopt animals to new homes. I have volunteered with other animal welfare organizations such as P.A.W.S., taking care of shelter animals and helping with the operation of the rescue. BOOKING PROCESS: Once you reach out, I will ask you some questions and confirm my availability for the dates you are seeking. I will then confirm pricing based on what you tell me (the price may be different than what you see on Rover since Rover's pricing feature is not elaborate. Depending how far you are from me, there may be a travel fee assessed.) From there, we will set up a meet & greet so I can meet you & your pets. You can take me through their schedule and all of the details during our meet & greet. If we are both feeling good about things and want to move forward, I will send you the official booking request. I provide pet care services within the client's home. Drop-ins, walks, feeding, play-time, etc. all take place in your own home/area! Transporting and boarding your pet at a veterinary office or daycare is typically stressful for them and for you. Leaving them in their home environment is easier & more convenient! I follow your guidelines for your pets routine. Whatever they do when you are home, they will do with me. I consistently seek to minimize any potential risks by looking for ways to keep your pets extra safe - such as avoiding other animals on walks, ensuring the collar fits correctly, making sure all fences are locked, etc..
