Pet care experience
I’ve owned cats and dogs for my entire life. As a genuine animal lover, I have sought out opportunities to work/volunteer with the humane society and cat shelters everywhere I’ve lived. I have experience with administering medicine and working with special diets. Every animal has different needs. Most of my professional work has been with dogs, cats and horses. Walking dogs is a blessing as an avid hiker.

My cats loved Alex so much, they didn't even care when I came home lol. He took great care of them, sent lots of photos and updates, and was all around great to talk to and work with. Will be booking with him again!

Alex was incredibly professional. Alex reached out before watching our cats for the first time and was able to come to the apartment to meet our cats with us here and see where all of the food and toys were located. Alex sent timely updates daily and was very easy to work with. We came home to two happy cats and a clean litter box. Along with feeding our cats and cleaning the litter box, Alex also played with our cats daily and seeing pictures of our cats getting attention and being happy was very reassuring. We cannot recommend Alex enough.
Alex did a great job taking care of my two cats for drop in visits. He was very communicative and very caring with my cats who are very shy around new people. It was really great to see how they opened up to him over the course of the visits!

I have two happy and healthy indoor cats that I rescued off of the street in Virginia. I have a commitment to making sure my pets needs are always met and this commitment extends to all animals I’m involved with. It goes beyond doing the basics. Spending quality time with animals is key, keeping them entertained and active to live their best lives possible only brings fulfillment to my own life.

I’m fine with any type of dog, I just need to know if they dislike other dogs or people while on walks, and any other special requirements. I love high energy dogs that like to run, I can definitely keep up
A typical day
In my free time I enjoy rock climbing, ski mountaineering, and summiting Volcanos but especially enjoy spending time napping or playing with my two kitties

I’m currently switching careers so I’m available at all times, on all days, with plenty of flexibility. I’m easy to reach and very laid back. I know life is hectic and I hope to make things a little easier to juggle by bringing some peace of mind around the well-being of your pet.
