I've had dogs in my life since I was born, learning how to respect, walk, care for, and feed them throughout my youth and young adulthood. Growing up, I ran a successful cat-sitting business in my neighborhood, providing as much or as little interaction with resident cats as they preferred. My family's dogs typically live in the 12+ year range, so I know how to slow down and gently care for senior animals. That being said, I also love a high-energy pup-- I grew up with terriers, after all! I'm an athlete, so long walks or spicing things up with a little run or outdoor play is right in my wheelhouse. :) I have a cat who lives in my house, who I delight in providing good enrichment, food, and play time for. Additionally, I volunteer at animal shelters in my spare time, because I believe all animals deserve care, compassion. and love.
