Long Time Dog Lover!
Pet care experience
I’ve grown up with dogs since I was 13. My first dog Coco was a cocker spaniel/hound mix. He was my best friend until he passed at 12 years old. As an adult I had Belle, a six week old golden retriever/collie mix. Within a week of her rescue I learned that she had hook worms that had been transferred from her mother. After an emergency blood transfusion, Belle is loving life at 8 years old. Unfortunately, after a break up, I no longer have Belle, but taking care of a dog will put a smile on my face!

My dog, Saint, is so picky with who he gets along with. He became at ease with Alex very quickly after our initial goodbyes. He showed patience with Saint and his “accident” coming into a new environment. I went away for the weekend last minute and Alex was so great with quick responses and sending me photos of what Saint was up to. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Alex again the next time I go out of town. I know my pup will be in good hands! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I cannot recommend Alex highly enough. He went above and beyond for my dog, Harley. He took Harley on so many outings throughout the stay and sent pictures to check-in. When I picked Harley up he had just taken him for a long walk and made sure he had used the bathroom. I felt 100% comfortable leaving Harley with Alex.
Alex has been one of my friends for a long time and he is one of the most genuine and nicest people I know, whom loves dogs as much or moreso than people. He has assisted me by watching my dog, Toby, several times and house sat while I have been out of town. As a friend, he is very trustworthy, punctual, planned and caring. I would highly recommend him as a loving dog caregiver.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or requirements! My condo is on the second floor with no elevator access, so it’s not recommended for dogs with walking or sight issues. I’m happy to provide oral or topical medications as needed. If there’s anything else that will put you and your pup at ease, feel free to let me know!
A typical day
I love being outdoors and venturing to pet friendly places in Tampa! I live close to Picnic Island dog park and also am a short drive from Bayshore. Near my house there’s a one mile loop surrounding a lake and Tampa Bay.

I currently work for a grocery shopping/deliver company with a completely flexible schedule. I’m an early riser, typically waking before 6am and can come and go throughout the day for walks and playtime. On most evenings I stop working by 6pm and can relax and play with a pup for the night! Weekends are usually reserved for fun activities which I’m happy to bring a dog to parks and other dog friendly establishments around Tampa.
