I only accept dogs that have had a meet and greet for the safety of your dogs and mine. All kinds of animals have been drawn to me my whole life. I can't imagine my life without dogs. They contribute so much to my life. I have cared for puppies, seniors and even special needs. I am home 24/7 ensuring your babies will have plenty of company and snuggle time. My fur babies are my family and while yours stay with us they will be too. My home is as much for their comfort as it is mine. A meet and greet is essential to ensure we are a good fit for your fur baby (babies). I have been doing Rover sitting for 2 years. How did I get so lucky to do something that brings me such joy? This experience has not only built my dogs' confidence but has also allowed me to hone my skills in dog care and training.

We’re so happy to have found Alex to care for our sweet Canela. She’s the second sitter we’ve hired in Arizona. The first (not through Rover) was a terrible experience, but after our recent experience with Alex, we will definitely be returning to her whenever we need someone to watch our furbaby. We really appreciated that Alex wanted to do a meet and greet, and how she emphasized the importance of all parties feeling comfortable. We also loved how Alex sent a ton of pictures and frequent updates. Knowing we were busy traveling, she didn’t expect any response, but whenever we wrote her, she responded very quickly. It seemed like Canela really enjoyed her time at Alex’s. We could tell that Alex knows what she’s doing when it comes to working with dogs, even multiple dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and ages. 10/10 would recommend!
Alex is simply the best. She works with my dog’s anxiety and we are starting to see improvements already!
Alex is takes great care of our little dachshund. Daisy loves Alex and plays well with her two dogs. Alex sends frequent photos and updates about how Daisy is doing.
I found Alex by accident went my sitter cancelled last minute. I am so lucky she was available!! She has a nice set-up and I felt very confident that my pups would be well cared for. I received a lot of fun pictures every day. I've already booked my next stay!

I have 2 fur babies to keep your dog company. My yard is securely fenced. I am skilled at giving medications if needed. I will be delighted to treat your babies with adoration and love that I have for my own. My home is 4 miles from a 24-hour emergency vet. I will watch multiple dogs from different families only if I know the dogs well. I will also care for multiple dogs from the same family. My settings show dogs up to 40 pounds. If your larger dog is really gentle and chill feel free to reach out.

Please tell me about your dogs diet & schedule. Any medications. Do they sleep in their own bed or with their human or crate trained? I always request an extra day of food because flight cancellations, traffic jams and other stuff can happen. If you bring dog toys I can't guarantee they will be returned in the same condition. I have plenty of toys.
A typical day
I have a very energetic 6 pound, 4 year old Chihuahua that hopes your dog will play with her. I also have 16 year old, 12 pound Chiweenie who sometimes plays. Dogs are allowed on furniture and in bed here and my pups and I look forward to snuggle time. My home is double gated to safeguard "door dashers". My backyard is secure and I allow access to it any time. Plenty of time to frolic and play. I make sure that no one gets overheated playing to hard.

I am retired and am home nearly 24/7. Plenty of time to snuggle and play. I so enjoy having Rover guests. My dogs are used to having a variety of dogs come and go.
