Hello! My name is Alex and I’m a born and raised animal lover. My experience includes being a rehabilitation intern at the Nashville Wildlife Conservation Center, I’ve shadowed various doctors at the Colorado Springs Canine Orthopedic Center, I’m a former Dogtopia Canine Coach, and I’m a volunteer at the Larimer Humane Society as well as the Greenwood Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. In addition, I’m a fourth year student at the Colorado State University studying Animal Sciences.

Alex took great care of Nala and provided ample updates and pictures. She was also very flexible and accommodating to some last minute changes.
We felt so great about Alex after our meet and greet and throughout the duration of our trip. We’ve already booked her for another stay with our old pups - one being VERY senior and hope she’ll be down for more stays in the future. She’s wonderful!
Alex was incredible! I felt totally calm the whole time I was away, which is tough for me! She sent pictures and kept me updated on all her and cooper were doing! My dog is really quirky and likes things a certain way and she was great with him! Wish she was in Nashville full time cause would definitely use her again!

I have only had great experiences dog sitting through rover! As requested, I can take your pup on multiple walks, giving plenty of opportunities for potty breaks, offer enrichment opportunities and of course lots of cuddles! During the meet and greet, Please inform me of all your pet needs specifically: - can or can’t be alone for short periods of time - aggression with other dogs/people - unique behaviors - likes/dislikes - dietary restrictions - eating and bedtime schedules - medications/medical history This way I can ensure the best care possible!
A typical day
A typical day would include walks, play time like tugging or fetch, and cuddles (my personal favorite)! I also favor to provide enrichment treats like puzzles or kongs. During the warm weather, I would love to take your dog on walks into parks where they can smell the new environment and we both can take in some fresh air.

Availability
I am a full time student at CSU who stays home studying most of my time. However, because of my classes being in person during the week I can only work with dogs who can be by themselves for short periods of time. If this is not an issue please continue reading! I would love to have a furry friend to keep each other company whether if that’s in the comfort of their home, my home, or in the outdoors. I have three dogs back home that I miss dearly. One of the reasons I started dog sitting is so I can spend my free time caring for pups locally!
