**Please do let me know ahead of time any special needs, medications, and anything else I need to know about your dog so I can adapt to whatever they need. I want you and your dog to be as happy and comfortable as possible while you’re away. **Must be up to date of preventative medications and vaccines for their safety and the safety of all other animals that come through our doors. **Please be transparent about their potty habits. We have a fenced yard they will have regular access to, and our dog is trained to go outside only. That’s our preference when taking dogs in, but can absolutely accommodate dogs who use pads well without having accidents on the floor. The occasional accident is understandable, but being fully potty trained is essential. Though we know it can be difficult to predict their behavior in a new environment, if accidents are excessive, we’ll discuss an additional fee to mitigate costs of deep cleaning. **As we do have a dog of our own, it’s important they get along. Leo is a friendly boy who gets along with everyone, but I understand every dog has a different temperament and might not enjoy a high energy puppy. We just want them all to be happy and comfortable, so short meet and greets and/or short partial day visits are a necessity before booking a full stay for the comfort of all parties. **Please inform if your dog has any history of escape artistry or fence climbing/jumping. We have inside gates to prevent sneaky escapes out the front, and our backyard fence is very secure. However, it’s a something we’d like to be aware of, just in case. **This is a home is a great place for socialization. Keep this in mind when making request if you dog isn’t socialized much or has intense anxiety. We will not be able to accommodate reactive dogs, nor typically elderly dogs (depending on their health and disposition). However, lower energy, non-play-oriented dogs will do just fine as long as they’re okay around other dogs. They are able to enjoy their own peace and quiet in another corner of the home when they like. Leo is a play hard, nap hard kind of dog too. We’ve boarded all kinds of different personalities, and even anxious dogs can do well, even thrive, in the highly social environment. **Even if a date is unavailable or your request doesn’t fit some certain specifications on my profile, please feel free to message me anyway. We go on walks, and engage in lots of play time to keep your pup happy and entertained. We have lots of toys of all kinds for your dog to play with. Our husky mix loves to play with any and all dogs, and will help keep yours entertained. He’s great about modifying his play to smaller dogs compared to his 35 lb stature. Lots of playing and belly rubs will be had, and I’ll do my best to capture these moments in photos to share (if I can get them to sit still!).
