My name is Alexandria, but I go by Alex. I am 21 years old, and have plenty of experience in the pet care field. At age eighteen I began my first job at a pet store. Afterwards, I was employed at a high volume boarding facility as a kennel technician. Currently, I am employed as a veterinary assistant. I’m comfortable with dogs of any breed or size. While working as a kennel technician, I doubled as a dog bather - so I am able to provide baths and nail trims (for both cats and dogs.) I have no issues administering medication, and am comfortable with more involved medical tasks, such as giving subcutaneous fluids. Thanks to my previous employment at a pet store, I am also adept with exotic animal (reptiles, birds, aquariums, small mammals) husbandry. I personally own two cats and four ferrets.
