Alex went above and beyond in what my girlfriend and I needed in our care for our little guy. Our dog is a red heeler who came from an abusive home and is a survivor of distemper, so he’s EXTREMELY picky on who he gets along with, and is very high maintenance. Our dog tends to not like men and can sometimes be aggressive towards them. When Alex came over to meet our dog for the first time, Alex did an amazing job on letting our dog go to him when he was ready. When our dog finally did allow Alex to get close to him, he immediately fell in love with Alex. He did a great job on connecting with our dog, and we could tell our dog loved playing with him. I was expecting a good sitter, but he truly did an amazing job in replacing everything my girlfriend and I would do for our dog. He treated him exactly as we would, and as if our dog was his own. He spent most of his time at our apartment (since that’s one of our dog’s needy qualities), played with him, and even let our dog sleep with him. We got the cutest pictures of him while we were out of town letting us know how he was doing. There was one day he got a little spooked by something and pooped on our curtain in the living room. Alex informed us right away and we told him we would take care of it when we returned, yet he still took it upon himself to clean it so well that it looked like nothing even happened. When we got back from our trip, everything in the apartment was spotless. The carpet was vacuumed, our kitchen counters and bathroom were detail cleaned, and our towels and sheets were washed. There is absolutely no one who can do a better job in taking care of dogs than Alex can. Never will we choose someone else to take care of our baby boy and love him just like we do.
