Hi, My name is Alex, I’m 25 years old I live in Staten Island and I’ve been a pet owner my entire life. I’ve had a love for all animals since I was a child. Growing up I’ve cared for both cats and dogs. I personally have been caring for my 2 dogs for 13 years now. I have experience giving dogs medications, caring for ill pets, and most importantly giving them the love and attention they deserve. Both of my dogs are 13 year old seniors that I have cared for since they were puppies. One of them has anxiety and arthritis so I have experience with that. My other dog has cancer, so I am familiar with administering oral chemo. I had cared for my dog that had abdominal surgery, giving antibiotics, pain medications, and wound care, also handling his feeding tube. As I am a student in nursing school I am currently unavailable Wednesday’s, and and Friday mornings. Nothing is more important than the safety of our pets and I promise to look after them like they are my own. I hope to form a special bond with every dog I care for, if they have any special requirements or temperaments I should be aware of please let me know. Thank you!
