Experienced Dog Walker!
Pet care experience
I am well-versed in taking care of dogs and cats, and can follow special food instructions, as well as take dogs out for potty breaks and scooping cat litter. Almost nothing can gross me out at this point! I am a full time second year law student, so I am mostly available on weekends but I also have plenty of free time during the day on Mondays and Fridays (I just need advanced notice, but I don’t have any classes on Fridays). I am very comfortable looking after pets for several days at a time - please just let me know their food/medication schedule, exercise routine, and anything else that may make your pets stay go as smoothly as possible! I am free to board dogs in my apartment for a weekend or even a week, depending on the dog.

Alex is a very responsible person. She would treat the dog with the utmost care, and shows so much love for her own dogs. Alex has two large dogs of her own, and they have both always been treated with care and kindness. She is a respectful person - to both people and dogs, and would respect the wishes of the dog owners and respect their preferences for how their dog(s) is/are cared for.
The love Alex has for all animals, specifically dogs, knows no bounds. I know she’ll make a great dog sitter because she’s a dog lover to her very core!

Please let me know if your dog has any issues walking on the leash (i.e. is aggressive toward other dogs, is aggressive toward only large dogs, aggressive toward people, skittish, etc.) I can handle any of these problems, I just need to know in advance.
A typical day
I love to get exercise around the neighborhood, so I’m happy to run or walk big dogs for as long as it takes to burn off their energy! There are great areas for off-leash play and great trails for dogs who need a more on-leash approach near my apartment :) Happy to run with any dogs that need additional exercise. I moved back to Brooklyn recently, but I previously worked as a dog walker here for about a year and loved all of my furry clients!

Availability
I am free during the day on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday (with the exception of an evening class from 4:45-6:45). This works particularly well for long weekend house sitting / dog boarding, and I am also available during all of those times for walks or drop in visits!
