Pet care experience
I have had pets my entire life (8 cats and a dog) and have been taking care of them, along with other animals since I was about 10. I absolutely love pets and know exactly how to make them feel safe and loved. I previously have had a part time job walking dogs for Canine Cove, so as well as unprofessional experience I have had professional experience as well. I was quite famously known to dog owners to take quite professional (iPhone portrait mode) photos of their dogs while they were in my care. I have also volunteered as a dog walker at the SPCA in SF, so I am quite experienced doing so.

Alex did a great dog house sitting our German Shepherd Ruben. Everything was super smooth from the first meet and greet through the entirety of the time we were gone. Got plenty of updates on how things were going and came home to a clean house and happy dog. Would definitely recommend Alex, will for sure use him again the next time we need a dog sitter.
Alex was very flexible when we needed to change plans. It was inconvenient for him and he was so kind about the situation, Thank you alex! Looking forward to future pet sits with our kitty.

While pets will not be able to come to my house due to my two cats, I am prepared to learn about the best walking paths or areas around your home where your pet will feel safe. During my old dog walking job I had to enter everyone's home to get their dog and could always be trusted to do just that. Clients would recommend walks to me if they would like me to do that, or through experience I would find my own, whichever you are more comfortable with!

I am currently a part time student at the University of Oregon taking online classes, but it hardly interferes with my schedule since watching lectures/doing coursework is based mainly around my own availability. I am available essentially at any time and can communicate with you at any point during the day.
