*update* For house sitting - Prefer booking longer term contracts (minimum 1 week to 4 months max). House/pet sitting for 4 years. I work from home (regardless of the pandemic) and have a very flexible schedule - which means your pup gets a lot of attention and affection! I have a very calm presence which is comforting for dogs, especially those with anxiety. I have cared for pups with anxiety and we had no problem bonding. For the more energized dogs, I can bring the excitement, goofy play, and lots of running. I’m very active either running, biking, or paddling everyday. I’m very adaptable and can accommodate whatever your pup needs, even if it requires chills and cuddles on the couch. I am very familiar with different styles of dog training. I am comfortable to adopt to your pups specific commands as a continuation of their training while you are away. In regards to home sitting, I am very clean and organized. I take great care in my own home, and I extend this care to my house sitting clients. Most importantly, I genuinely love dogs. They feel safe and cared for in my presence, which is something I hope you value in a pet sitter. Working from home provides me with much flexibility to spend quality time with the pups. My personal routines always involve something active, so doing long walks or hike morning and night are typical in my schedule. Typically I like to schedule a call to learn more about your pup needs and the owner. Afterwards, I follow up with a meet and greets, which occurs in the clients home. This is a great opportunity to meet the dog(s) and owner, and gain an understanding of the home. We discuss routines, dietary preferences, type of exercise, sleep routine and more. I strive to maintain the same stable environment for the pup so they are at ease when their owners are away.
