Pet care experience
I'm experienced in walking and taking care of multiple dogs at a time, as well as taking care of cats and other small animals. My whole life I've lived with more than a few animals with different temperaments, special care requirements, and more. Currently, I work from home full time with a fairly flexible schedule that enables me to attend appointments when needed. I also have a 6-month heeler/corgi mix. He LOVES all dogs and gets super excited to meet new friends! He is potty trained and gets along well with other animals. Upon your permission, I would bring him with me for sits/walks - but of course, if you'd prefer he doesn't come along please do let me know I am more than happy to make arrangements for him to stay with family. So happy I came across Alex and that she made time for a meet and greet, because I really did like her vibe and personality. I’ve got a 16 old Dalmatian that I baby, along with a fluffy cat that doesn’t need too much attention and care but appreciates it. I was looking for someone that would be able to have the patience with my dog and show him the kind of love I constantly do. Alex sent me pictures of them both and would keep me updated on how they were doing as we were gone for a night. I am so happy she gets to help us once again! I highly recommend Alex
Alex is amazing. Friendly, charming, great with our animals. My house was taken excellent care of as well as my 4 legged children. We will have her again for sure.
Alex is awesome! On short notice, in the rain, she came over to give my pup a fun Birthday walk. My dog loves her and she even brought him a special treat. So great. Thank you!
Overall, I thought Alex did a very good job. I feel she has a little to learn and gave her some feedback already. Making an owner comfortable by providing daily feedback on things that are important...like being able to feed a picky eater, ensuring meds are given whenever they are prescribed, and shampooing a pet when necessary and noting any issues. I felt that Alex had a lot of other activities that may have either distracted her or made her rush at things. I would suggest that during the meet and greet that more time be spent on what's important to both parties and to disclose other planned activities by the sitter especially if they are house sitting. I would hire Alex again!
