Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs my whole life and have cared for our family senior dog, Maggie, who we had for 18 precious years. I now have a sweet 3 year old fur baby of my own, Bella. I find dogs are much easier to get along with than humans… I’ll say hi to someone’s dog before even making eye contact with their owner. My dream would be to run a doggy day care when I own land one day.

Alex did a wonderful job watching our dog while we were away for a week!! She was so easy to coordinate pick up/drop off times with too. Alex sent regular updates/pictures which made us feel at ease while we were away. She cares for other dogs as if they are her own. She is a pro at dog sitting and I would highly recommend her services! She definitely deserves more than 5 stars :)

I have a close by dog park that is a quick drive if your dog is comfortable riding in the car. Otherwise, my complex is gated and has plenty of room to walk in a safe area with minimal traffic. I will always keep your dog leashed for safety reasons. Indoors, dogs have free reign of my living area, furniture included. I find it’s a bonus is your pup stays the night and wants to sleep in the bed with me!

Let me know if there’s anything you feel I need to know about your dog, I.e. if they have any medical needs, excessive energy that needs to be released, or if they don’t get along with other dogs. I do have a small Maltese, Bella, that loves making new friendly buddies!
A typical day
I love walking in my gated community or visiting the close by dog park, if your pup is okay with hopping in the car. Depending on your dogs exercise needs, we can play fetch or chase until their hearts content!

Availability
I standardly work from home on Wednesday and Fridays and any other day by request. My weekends are very available; I’m normally just relaxing with my pup or visiting my family in the area.
