Pet care experience
Animals have always played an important role in my life and I feel that they are as much a part of the family as any human. If you select me for my services, I promise to give them the love and respect they deserve. I have plenty of experience house/dog sitting for extended periods of time, and I have many repeat customers. I am happy to provide regular updates during the time that I am watching your pet. I can handle walking dogs ranging from Yorkies to Pitbulls (and everything in between). I am a rising senior in college and am trying to raise money to assist in paying my school expenses. I love to play with pets and I am always up for a challenge (or for a run). In my personal experience with my own pets, I have learned how to successfully administer oral medication which may set me apart from other sitters/walkers. I am eager to get started and would love the opportunity to care for your pets as if they were my own.
Reviews
Alex was amazing. She went above and beyond what was asked of her. She even vacuumed the floor and that wasn't even asked of her to do so. We would highly recommend using Alex's services and will be doing so in the future.
Alex was in a word, wonderful. She watched my 3 fur kids and everything was amazing. I tend to be very particular and anxious about how my animals are cared for but she did a great job. I have a new to me 10 month old dog who is a challenge and she delt with him wonderfully. She was very responsive, got me all the references I asked for and even set it up so I could speak to one of her previous clients just to ease my mind. She sent photos and updates regularly, and all my animals and our home looked great when we returned. I'll certainly be using her again.
Alex is a kind, responsible, joyful, and loving caregiver. The care she's always given to our 50-pound pooch has been nothing short of superb. If you're looking for a trustworthy and cheerful dog sitter whose attention to detail is impeccable, she's the person for you.
Alex is a responsible, caring and loving professional dog sitter. She provided the kind of care I was looking for with our little pug Ellie Mae. If you need the best for your furry family member who displays kindness and compassion contact Alex today!

Safety, trust & environment
I take special care when it comes to creating a loving and safe environment for the animals under my care. I try to take any details owners have mentioned into account when I’m trying to make a pet feel more comfortable and at ease with me. Building trust is the foundation for a good pet-sitting experience and I honor your pets autonomy to move at their own pace.
Information Alex L. would like to know about your pet
I would love to know if the pets are comfortable with strangers or how long they take to warm up to someone new. I’ve grown up with a dog that has separation anxiety. I find that when I speak in a soft, calm voice and provide attention and affection that it helps a great deal.
A typical day
Since we live in such a beautiful and woodsy area, I’d love to play outside with your pet, go on walks and allow extra time for snuggles and treats in the down-time.

Availability
I’m a full-time remote employee so I could easily stay with your animal while I’m working during the day. My schedule allows for a bit of flexibility so I am also able to take dogs out on walks or drop-in on pets during the day.
