Animals have always been my calling, I've taken care of all kinds since I was 12 or so, from rabbits, to birds, and plenty of dogs and cats. I've mainly cared for pets of friends, family, and neighbors up until getting training as a veterinary assistant. I've taken care of puppies/kittens, senior animals, special needs, and animals with medication including insulin.

Alex was an amazing dog/cat/house sitter for us! Our dog is very, very shy and Alex worked with him until he was comfortable going on a walk with her. She gave us updates and pictures every day. We felt totally safe having Alex watching over our3 fur-babies. She also left the house spotless.
Alex was Great she took care of her English bulldog for two weeks She even took care of her six chickens
Alex took great care of our animals and our home while we were out of town. We have two dogs and both require daily medication. One of our dogs is epileptic and had a seizure while Alex was caring for him. Alex did an outstanding job taking care of him and ensuring the safety of our other dog during the episode. Unfortunately during this episode, our dog was temporarily blind and aggressive in his postictal state. Alex was highly communicative with us to ensure we were aware of his condition, and did a phenomenal job cleaning after the mess he had made in our home. Despite this chaotic and stressful episode, Alex continued to care for our animals and we are so grateful. We would highly recommend Alex to anyone who is looking for a reliable, communicative, and trusting dog sitter.

As someone with a chronic fear of break ins I am always extremely secure when it comes to peoples homes, and will do what is requested of me. For pets, I've always had an interest in animal training and know protocol for dangerous situations that hopefully will never arise.
Information Alex K. would like to know about your pet
For new clients I have a questionnaire that covers all of the information I need/would be helpful, and can adapt that for short notice bookings to cover the basics. For home visits/sitting, I have allergies to a lot of perfume and cleaning products and require a one time (free) home visit before accepting anyone as a client. As I would never want to leave someone without a sitter on short notice if I couldn't watch them.
A typical day
Both mental and physical stimulation are important and will be given with all the loves and pets along the way! Walks and dog parks are a great way to do both, many things to smell, watch, and play with. Then of course the zoomies :) As I grow my client base I'll have more and more tools in my toolbox like lick mats and fun toys if needed that they will love!
