Pet care experience
Hello, my name is Alex, and yes that is a Kangaroo in my profile picture! I have an eleven year old Shetland Sheepdog (think Lassie but smaller) who is a bundle of joy, but full of energy and stubborn as heck. Because of him, I am no stranger to long walks and those frustrating moments we all have as dog owners. I am a recently graduated Biology Major who has plenty of experience working with animals, both exotic and less so. I love dogs with all my heart (I am that guy who will come up to you, ask to pet your dog, and not leave for five minutes) and will always talk to you to figure out a way to make this a great experience for your dog! I am mostly available on the weekends, but I will also be free on weekdays after 5 pm. Thank you for reading, and let me know if there's anything else you'd like to know!

My two dogs, Darby and Picabo, are always delighted to see Alex. They love playing and walking with Alex's dog, Willie. Alex is very professional and I highly recommend him.
Alex is a thoughtful and responsible person and a fantastic current dog owner. Though his personal dog, Willy, is a family dog, Willy clearly has an attachment to Alex in particular, demonstrating the attention and care he gives to Willy. He takes Willy on long walks (even when friends are over, Willy still needs to get his walk!), and treats him with love and patience. Alex would be a fantastic person to take care of your dog!
Alex is gentle and kind to our family dog Willie and his neighborhood friends. When it's time for Willie's walk he goes to Alex's room to wait for their walk. Willie also goes to Alex if he needs to go out during the night. New dogs sense Alex's kind nature and approach him, tails wagging. On one of their many walks, a neighbor hired Alex to dog sit a new puppy and older dog for her when she's on business trips.

It depends on the dog. Please let me know what your dog prefers to do! Do they like playing catch more than going on walks? Where do you take them when you go for walks? I love taking dogs for long walks, but I am also fine with just a simple game of fetch in the backyard.
