One side of my family is a cat family. I was born into a house with cats, love them and been taking care of them since I was old enough to pour food into a dish. (currently I have two) The other half of my family is a dog family. So I have been walking doggos since I was old enough to be trusted (AKA begged and begged until I got to hold the leash.) Currently I help take care of my friends dog when they are away, which includes popping in on lunch to let her out to pee, or walking her before or after work. Taking her to the dog park to get the zoomies out, sometimes we go to the pet store for a bath and a toy. I occasionally spend the night so dog and cat have company. I do not have official training skills but I know how to recognize warning signs in other dogs, mannerisms and how to talk to doggos. Even in a gated area I still do not feel comfortable letting a dog off leash and then not keeping my eyes on him/her the whole stinking time.
