Pet care experience
I grew up with a sweet Pomeranian who I fed and walked regularly. Since then, I have been the “go-to dog sitter” for all of my friends, family, and neighbors when they leave town. I’ve watched my sisters Lab and Husky puppies for a over 5 years now staying over night when needed and as much of a handful as they are I wouldn’t trade it for the world. I also frequently watch my friends cat when she needs. He has an irritable stomach so I feed him slowly to keep him from getting sick. I also have experience with a weekly walk schedule. I had a friend who wanted me to take her dog on 2 walks and 2 runs a week . I’m looking for more furry friends to take care of and love on. Feel free to message me with any questions you have! I wouldn't trust anyone else with my dogs. My dogs are kind of high maintenance and needy, but Alex does it no problem. She's very responsible and loving. Heck she's got such a great relationship with my dogs, they really trust her too.

Seeing as I offer house-sitting, drop-by, and walking services the answer may be more broad. My main goal is to follow what is outlined by the client and use common sense past that and not putting the pet in any sort of situation that could be dangerous. Outside of safety, my main goal is to make sure the pet gets attention(if desired) whether that be through affection or play. I’m all for doing what I can to help them get a little extra energy out!
Information Alex would like to know about your pet
I’d like to know as much information as possible, especially regarding any potential health conditions. Also, great to know how they like to play, what kind of toys they enjoy, how the client handles any potential disobedience, etc.
A typical day
The typical day depends on the client’s wishes and their pets needs. I would love to take their dog on a walk. There’s many beautiful and safe trails around Lawrence. If the pet is all updated health wise I would love to take it to the dog park by Clinton! Outside of that I would do any sort of cuddling/pets or fun stimulating play the pet desires or requires!

I have a very flexible schedule so it’s fairly easy to work with the needs of the client and their pet. I work full time in research, but how I allocate those hours is flexible therefore I’m able to adapt to what’s needed.
