Pet care experience
Hi there! My name is Alex and I come to you with over two decades of experiences working with all kinds of animals. I have worked on a ranch and farm tending to cows, chicken, and sheep. My mother was a dog breeder when I was younger, and she also studied veterinary assistance/medicine so I definitely learned a lot from her. I have had animals my whole life and am very comfortable with larger breeds like great danes, rottweilers, and pitbulls (they're my FAVE!). I try my best to meet each dog's specific needs regardless of breed/behaviors. I will definitely do everything I can to make your pup feel safe and comfortable during our time together.

I highly recommend Alex for any pet related care. They are one of the most reliable, caring, kind, and gentlest pet caregiver/owners. Not only are the quite knowledgeable, but they will definitely ask thorough questions to ensure the best care and follow any given instructions precisely. I trust that when they take my little chihuahua out for walks that I do not have to worry about my dog being harmed since they are also fiercely protective and always on alert. They are very sweet to my chihuahua who is elderly and very particular when it comes to certain people caring for her. They just have a very kind and sweet energy, which I think my Chihuahua prefers. I hope you will give them a chance in caring for your pet! I have yet to be disappointed!
I'm literally smiling from ear to ear because it is my absolutely please to praise Alex as a pet caregiver! I have a Shiba Inu named Boba and there's no one I trust more to care for him. Boba gets a little bit anxious sometimes (relatable content - am I right?! LOL), so I always need a truly thoughtful and considerate walker and caregiver. Alex is very attentive, intuitive, friendly, and respectful. They always go the extra mile (like sending photos of Boba on their walks or being patient if we need a few extra minutes to get ready). Seeing how happy and easeful Boba is upon returning puts me at ease, too. I've had to be away from Boba sometimes for travel and I've had Alex step in to offer long-term care as well. So, so grateful for them. Put your mind at ease and connect with Alex!

I make sure to read your ntoes VERY carefully and a few times. I want to make sure I'm caring for your animals the same way you would to keep consistency in their care. The more detail you are able to provide the better! Please never feel like you are asking for too much, your pet deserves the best of care out there. I know pets can be just as important as any other member in your family and want to make sure I am honoring whatever needs may arise asap.

If they have any sensory issues that is always super helpful. I.E. triggering loud noises, issues with certain fabrics/materials, more introverted around other animals, etc. You know your pet best and I will make sure to follow your guidance as closely as possible!
A typical day
One things i love to do, regardless of what physical shape the met is in, is work out their mind! So I love creating little puzzles, obstacle courses, or anything that will help them have to work a little harder for a treat or snack. Working out one of the most important organs (their brain!) is super important for long term health and I want to make sure they stay as sharp as possible :-)

I am self-employed as a consultant, facilitator, writer, and many other things! For that reason, I usually work with clients who have last minute or short-term needs as consistent weekly walks may not always fit into my schedule.
