When one begs for a dog in their younger years, the old parental adage goes something like “Fine, as long as I’m not taking care of it.” And so, you, a young child, become the sole caregiver(or so you think) of a fiercely independent and somewhat unruly husky for many years. It’s me, the former young child aforementioned. I have lots of experience from having a dog as a kid and to currently house-and-pet sitting for friends and family when needed. I am proficient in excellent dog-walking, adhering to scheduled feeding and medication, giving lots of pets, and talking in baby talk unnecessarily. Chances are I’ve taken care of a dog just like your best friend, no matter how neurotic of a best friend he or she may be.
