Hi there, my name is Alex and I love animals of all kinds! I have been around animals since I was a young child and have always had pets of my own. I have had the pleasure of owning all different types of animals from cats and dogs to leopard geckos and bunnies. I feel like you will benefit from my services because I have experience with quite a variety of animals and am invested in caring for your pet(s)! I will give your pets the experience that you would if you were at home and able to do it yourself, because I know that's what I would want for my pets as well! Our animals are more than our pets, they are our family! Let me take care of your animals while you're away!

I currently have two cats and a puppy. During the week while I’m at work, I take my puppy to doggy daycare where she gets to play, receive proper socialization, and get her basic daily needs met. My cats are set up every day at my home with an automatic feeder, a large water jug, and ample space to roam freely while my puppy is at daycare. When I’m home, I take my puppy out for walks, to the dog park, and give her all of the love scratches and belly rubs! My cats and I spend time together while I’m settling down for the evening and typically they will lay on or near me while I read or relax. I give my cats lots of pets, and my ragdoll, (in particular), loves belly rubs too, so I make sure to give her lots of those as well! I give all of my pets an appropriate amount of treats— especially while training for good behaviors they’ve accomplished during the day, and at other times, “just because!” I treat my pets as family, and that is what I would ensure for your pet(s) as well.

I would like to know what you feel your pet specifically needs and wants in their day-to-day life. Do they have special things they enjoy doing? Do they dislike certain activities or types of toys, etc? I want to know as much about your pet that you see as pertinent, so I can deliver the best care that they deserve to receive.
A typical day
I will discuss this prior to care, but in general, I will make sure their basic needs are met as well as go above and beyond to make sure that they’re having the best experience with me as possible. I believe that this would be achieved, in part, due to our discussion prior to care so I can tailor fun activities and necessities as well to theirs, and your, desires for their care. Fun activities I will do with the pets I watch are all specific to your specific pet. Not all pets are the same and enjoy the same things. They’re individuals just like us, and I cater to them individually because of that.

Availability
I work as a medical assistant from 8 AM to 6 PM every Tuesday through Friday. I am most available for pet care on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. However, I am open to working with you and your schedule as well on my days that I work to ensure that your pets get the care that they need! I would just prefer to have a more in-depth conversation prior to care.
