Pet care experience
I have had every type of pet you can think of: hamsters, guinea pigs, bearded dragon, fish, and frogs. I cared for my beagle for 10 years and now I’ve had my cats for three. My friends have relied on me to care for their dogs and cats as well. I’m comfortable with all dog types, as I used to walk every breed and size at Helping Hounds. I am capable of jogging with high-energy animals, play tug of war, and love whoever needs it.

From the start, it was evident that Alex is a very experienced pet sitter. My dog and cat don’t attach easily to strangers, but they welcomed her right in! Hope to have a chance for her pet sit with us again.

Alex provided excellent care for our cats, as usual. She is conscientious and stays in touch throughout the trip. We will not hesitate to use her the next time we need a catsitter.
We have used Alex numerous times during the past year to care for, first, our two older cats, and now, our one older cat. She consistently has done a great job of caring for them, including giving medications. She has been flexible when our plans have changed and is a good communicator before and during our time away. I plan to use her whenever she is available in the future.

I have a fenced in yard and know of many great dog parks and paths that I can take your pet to! I do own a pink stroller and harnesses if they prefer. I am comfortable going to client’s homes and taking pets in my car. I am very respectful and will follow any rules or guidance suggested.

I would love to know you and your pet’s preferences as in their favorite toys, games, and places to be. It is also important for me to know their typical behavior, how they are with strangers/other pets, and if they have any history I should know about. If the dog has specific and special needs, I can always accommodate just tell me!
A typical day
I love to play games and take dogs for long walks. I know many parks and hiking paths that dogs could explore with me. I also am aware of great dog parks and have my own fenced in backyard if necessary.

I am currently a grad student and have classes ranging from 8-2. I have great time management and will always dedicate the necessary time to your animal. I never miss deadlines and am rarely late.
