Pet care experience
I may not have a huge amount of professional dog caring experience, but personally, I do. When I'm home from university, I frequently look after my neighbour's 18-month-old German Shepherd, and I've been looking after her since he first got her, when she was just 4 weeks old. Not only does this mean I have experience looking after very young dogs, but I also know how a dog can change as it gets older, not just physically but also mentally. As well as my neighbour's German Shepherd, I've also looked after my other neighbour's 4 labradors as well as a number of other dogs around my village. Looking after dogs is an absolute pleasure for me and as a university student, taking a break from university work to look after dogs will make a difference to my life as well as yours.

I have known Alexander since he was three years old, and he has been a friendly neighbour for all of that time. Alexander was interested and supportive when I first considered getting a dog two years ago. Since getting my 20 month old German Shepherd, Heidi, Alexander has visited frequently to play with the dog in the garden and I have entrusted him to take Heidi for walks and feed her on occasions I have had to go out for the day. In my opinion Alexander will make a very suitable dog sitter.
Alex is a responsible and friendly person. He is always there to help you out in times of need and has a bubbly and upbeat personality. He has had experience in the past with looking after his neighbours dog, so is accustomed to all of the requirements of taking care of animals; which is a useful asset for this job. I’m sure Alex will do a great job in dog sitting and will be sure to always keep them entertained!

A typical day
I'm happy to go on long or short walks, naturally depending on the dog and you. I'm not overly familiar with Uxbridge and the surrounding area, but I've got a good sense of direction and I'm sure it won't take me long to get acquainted with good dog walking routes. My aim is to try and find a nice big area of green open space to play with your dog, and of course, I'm happy to throw a ball as many times as your dog wants!
