Pet care experience
I've been in love with dogs since my family got our first, Tanner, an Airedale Terrier. Playing, walking, and just being with them is my favorite thing in the world. I believe all dogs deserve the fun and happiness we were able to provide for Tanner, and I see each as the gift to the world that they are. We are all lucky every time we are in the presence of a dog and I hope to continue incorporating this type of care and interaction into my life more and more. I currently work remotely as a marketing consultant which allows me pretty flexible hours on my time, and there is nothing more I'd rather do than fill my spare time caring for, playing with, and being around the love that all dogs inherently have!

There are animal lovers. There are dog lovers. And then there’s Alex. I’ve never met someone with the level of love, compassion and care for every canine as Alex. He’s been a dog owner (altho not at the moment - landlord restrictions.) He knows what dogs need - mostly love. He’s smart and surprisingly intuitive. After the shortest time with someone’s 4-legged buddy, he’ll develop an ability to correctly read the animal’s cues. He becomes very attuned with the animal’s psyche. He’s caring, loving, responsible, compassionate and VERY patient. You could not choose someone more qualified or loving to spend time with your pet and to care for him/her as lovingly as you. Hire Alex. You won’t be sorry. And your little buddy will be thrilled.
Alex is the MOST incredible human being to ever connect and care for a dog. Truly. He is a lifelong dog owner and lover. He is our dog’s favorite person (probably more so than us) and we always know our Annie is in good hands with Alex.

I've never met a dog or breed I don't like. All I need to know is, if anything, what your dog doesn't like. I've had experience with 'difficult' animals and understand that some may have things in their background that affect them now. None of that makes them a bad dog, I just want to be informed so I can help your pup have a good time! I’ve said elsewhere in my profile, the best thing in the world is a happy dog - I just want to be the best friend to them however is right for them!
A typical day
I live right off University Ave in North park. I never have to take my car out because it’s so walkable! We can discuss your preferences, but I love dog parks and parts of Balboa park are even in walking distance from here! It's such a great space to play catch, run around and get some exercise and energy out!

Availability
I currently work remotely as a marketing consultant which allows me pretty flexible hours on my time. I regularly stay at friends’ homes to sit for their dogs and cats when they are out of town. I’m able to stay there and work remotely or return home at night and be back to care for their animal friends the next day!
