I recently relocated to the Mordecai neighborhood in Raleigh and WFH for a startup. My partner and I rescued a 8-month old Pitty/Lab mix in January and spend a lot of our time playing with him (Norman). In addition to walking Norman 3-5 per day, I bathe him, feed him, play with him and watch tv with him. Sometimes I take him to work a cafe while I work. I’m originally from Mystic, Connecticut, oldest of 5 kids. I grew up with a springer spaniel, and rescued 2 dogs in Arlington, VA during my mid-twenties. My highest level of education is a master’s degree in business. On the weekends I tend to stay in the Mordecai neighborhood. I go on long walks, cook, read and watch TV. I have a ton of dog sitting experience and love dogs, so wanted to get more involved in my community and help my neighbors out :)

Alex is a very loving and caring pet sitter for my dog. When I am out of town or won't return home until late in the evening I ask Alex to come over to my place to take my dog Penny out for walks around my neighborhood and to feed her, he'll even spend some quality time with her so that she doesn't miss my too much! When I am out of town Penny will stay with Alex at his home, he takes her on long walks around his neighborhood and even gives me little updates with photos and such so that I can stay connected to her during my travels. I will always count on Alex to watch my Penny!
Alex has baby sat my 5 yr old fur baby Kismet for over a year now pretty regularly. He takes Kismet’s on long walks which he thoroughly needs and enjoys. Alex is very loving and caring with him. I have left Kismet with Alex for over a week and I get status updates via text and photo/video sessions. I can’t recommend a better dog walker/baby sitter!
My small rescue and big labradoodle both love Alex! He watches them when I leave town and takes such good care of them. He walks them several times a day and sends me photos of them doing fun activities together! He is by far our favorite doggy sitter!
Alex Dolat is an excellent dog sitter. He has taken care of our 73 pound Goldendoodle several times. Our dog is always happy to see Alex. He’s clean, well fed, well walked.....well taken care of at his stay with Alex. I highly recommend Alex as a dog sitter!
