Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs ever since I was a little girl. Big, small, fluffy, energetic, you name it, i’ve done it. My family is full of animal lovers and I want to spread that love to other people’s animals as well. I have had every variaron of dog you can think of and they’re always my best friend. I do love cats as well, especially if they’re cuddly! My parents gave me responsibility of walking, feeding and bathing our dogs ever since I was 10-11 years old and I’ve loved doing it ever since.

Alex is very diligent, caring, and attentive with pets. She's had lots of experience while growing up watching over dogs and cats, including ones with special needs that require extra attention, such as senior dogs and dogs and cats with medical needs. You can always count on her, as she is very responsible and trustworthy. She has a natural way with pets by giving them all her love and attention!

I unfortunately am not allowed to have dogs at my apartment, but I wish I could. I am a very quick learner and comfortable with doing what care is needed requested by the owners for each pet.

It is very important for me to know ahead of time for any certain needs or medications that the animal needs. So I can communicate if I can do that or not. It would be nice to know the type of dog and if they’re high energy or more relaxed, but I am pretty flexible.
A typical day
I love to go for walks and runs with dogs! Being outside everyday is a must for me and I am very open to any games the dogs like to play. San Luis Obispo has some great parks with lots of grass and I am also open to going on walks on the beach!

Availability
I currently work full time, from 6am- 2pm. I am thinking about moving to four days instead of five. But my early work hours gives me plenty of afternoon/nighttime to walk or sit dogs! I have tuesday’s and wednesday off so those our my most open days.
