Hi, my name is Alex! I am a pet enthusiast who is very comfortable and capable with animals of any size! I have been blessed with being raised in a zoo (from puppies to horses to chinchillas!) throughout my life. I miss having pets constantly around me so feel like Rover is the perfect win-win! I have some spare time around classes to hang out with, walk, run, or play with your fur baby to give them some Vitamin D and exercise! Shoot me a message if you think your pet would be a good fit!

Alex is the perfect dog sitter. She came over before our trip to get the lay of the land. She sent lots of pictures during her stay and notified us when it looked like our pup had a sore paw. She provided walks, treats and cuddles, and then left the house neat as a pin!
Alex was wonderful as dog and house sitter extraordinaire. Our two dogs loved her and she sent us photos every day which was not only fun but reassuring. We trusted her completely to take care of our home as well and have already booked her again.

With Alex you get so much more than just a pet sitter! I could tell how dedicated she is to my dog, Dewey, by how she made him feel safe, by her patience, positive-reinforcement, and general presence! She sent so many photos so we felt like we were there with Dewey! I could tell she clearly cared about him and didn’t see him as just another job, which is so reassuring (especially with some past sitters we had who couldn’t wait until we got home). Thanks again Alex for making Dewey feel so cared for while we were away!

I have lots of experience with housesitting through TrustedHousesitter, Rover, and informal relationships and have always received high remarks about trustworthiness and respect of clients’ homes. I am sober, and do not use any forms of substances, including alcohol or nicotine devices; I mention this to assure clients that their homes and privacy is in the hands of a clear mind! While I am not willing to host dogs at my house, I am quite familiar with the local dog park and hiking trails to ensure a safe and friendly environment to keep your pup happy and healthy!

What I would like to know about you and your pup are 1) feeding times 2) preferred exercise intensity & duration 3) temperament/do they get along well with other people/animals 4) any special care they may need 5) their favorite treats!
A typical day
My go-to spots to walk pups if we have the time are Mt. Sanitas, Wonderland park, and the Mallory Cave trail behind NCAR! However, I can also accommodate to energy levels, age, and preferences for all shapes and sizes of dogs.

I am in school at CU, so I do have to make sure any drop-ins or walks don’t coincide with those hours! However, I am typically able to navigate drop-ins and walks around those commitments!
