I'm a former equestrian of ten years and I currently only have one cat (sad, I know - working on improving that number, haha). I previously worked for a dog walking and pet care company, servicing areas from Centreville VA to Haymarket VA. I'm very experienced with caring for many types of animals including, but not limited to, birds, dogs, cats, fish, and lizards. I'm well-versed in dealing with administering medications and dealing with special needs. I treat every pet as if they were my own. I am certified in emergency first aid care for animals through the Red Cross. I am also certified in emergency and preventative care through Melanie Monteiro; more on that is included towards the bottom. Both of my certificates are located in my pictures, and I'm more than willing to send you copies of both. I'm looking forward to meeting your furry, scaly, and feathery friends!

Before I pet sit, I'd like to know what your animal generally does during the day and how they are with you. On top of that, I'd like to know how they are with strangers upon first meeting, and how quickly they warm up to strangers. I'd like to know their favorite snacks and activities, and any quirks they may or may not have.
A typical day
If I get the lovely opportunity to stay with your furry friends, they'll enjoy a host of activities with me. If they're super energetic, I'll make sure we spend a lot of time playing outside and going on walks. If they're more of a lap dog who just likes to laze around, we'll go for a couple of walks and spend the rest of the time hanging out. Also, if you have your dog participating in a sport (IGP, FASCAT, etc.) I'm more than willing to practice with them.

I am a full-time online college student. My college is done remotely so I can work comfortably from your home while caring for your pets :) Also because of that, my schedule is really accommodating, so if you have any questions/concerns about times and dates, I'd be more than happy to discuss.
