Hello pet owners, My name is Alex and I am a recent graduate from NC State University with an bacherlors in Biology and Masters in Data Science. Despite working as a data scientist, I have a big passion for animals, healthcare and veterinary medicine. I have several years of dog and cat experience and would love to watch over your furry friend! If need be, I can take them to the vet, give baths, do nail trims, give some medicines, etc. I understand that each animal is different and would love to meet your dog or cat to see if they would find me to be a good fit! I have shadowed and worked at veterinary clinics around Greensboro and have knowledge on administering medications and caring for some special needs dogs (though not all, I would be more than willing to learn how to best care for your pup)! Alex watched our American Staffordshire Terrier mixes, Jake and Rowan, for a week while we were on vacation. He did a great job at keeping us up-to-date and sending us pictures of them! We are especially appreciative because he stayed the entire time with them, which was incredibly helpful for Jake as he has Severe separation anxiety. Alex also watered our plants for us, took out the trash and washed the sheets he had used before we even got home. We would definitely have him take care of our dogs again!

Because each pet is different, I'd like to know their temperament first! Some dogs have more energy, some dogs don't open up as quickly, and some dogs just like certain people. I'd love to get to meet your pet to see if I would be a good fit with them! If your dog requires any medication, that would be great to know ahead of time.
A typical day
I can take your pups out for a run or if they are more nervous we could go on walks around the neighborhood. Each dog is different and finding what fits them keeps them happy and safe!
